Silk Greenery Vs. Real for Table Garlands

Today’s post we decided to focus on silk vs. real greenery for your reception tables. This is a common question we receive from our couples and it is a good one.

We all know the advantage or real greenery – the aroma it brings to the room filled with fresh cut floral and greenery. On the other side the cost of creating natural greenery table runners/garlands is quite high. In the Ottawa Valley these real table garlands filled with seeded eucalyptus and silver dollar eucalyptus cost on average about $25-$30 per foot (a 6ft table runner could be up to $180).

At Parvati & Athena Events we have designed silk greenery garlands using silk silver dollar eucalyptus, baby eucalyptus and seeded eucalyptus using only high quality silk greenery that mimics the real thing. On average our greenery table garlands rent for $20 each for a 6ft garland (pricing depending on custom design work from the customer).

The obvious advantage of silk greenery is that it is less than 1/3 the cost of real greenery!
